You should know the weight will grow while you're scoping out maps and routes. Hey, we really almost made it, I can tell we're nearly home. Maybe we're a little jaded -- so? Things that you should know, but you don't have the time; when panic hits it interrupts the climb. Mentally, heavily, fulfillment feels so hard to find. You should know the way it flows, how it pours and rains while you pray for raise. Hey, we really almost made it, I can tell we're nearly home. Maybe we're a little jaded -- so? Things that you should know, but you don't have the time; then panic hits and interrupts the climb. Mentally, heavily, fulfillment feels so hard to find. So you're tracking everybody else around you thinking winning is important. But the stars must share your cosmic view, and the planets only move in one direction, but you think your rock's reversing 'cause it cares enough to fuck with you. Oh, no, you should know. © Drew Bayers, Nathanael Keefer, Matt Masocco

The Trigger 02:53
The trigger comes at half past one because your boy's on business in Belize. Bitter belle, you were too young to tell, but you claim I broke your heart -- oh, please. Incidents of action, innocent distraction -- a winter night collapsing, and December drags on years and years. Is this passion? 'Cause I'm feeling funny feelings that no one really feels anymore. Or is it mental illness? The wolf is at the door. Who are you? A glitter fling, still triggering, over a decade thinking "what could be?" My friends sing a chorus now ("stay away"), and friends are important now, but when I tell the story now, what my friends say is boring now ("stay away"). But who are they? Who are we, who are you? It's quarter to two and you admit that I'm a trigger too. So this passion? Cause I'm feeling fairly fearless (and no one really feels anymore). So is it mental illness if I'm outside your door? Who are we, who are you triggering in me these incidents where I want more? © Drew Bayers, Nathanael Keefer, Matt Masocco

Walkabout 03:22
The cloverleaf of cars is secretly a harbor town, oyster shell feels hard but after hours settles down. Come walk about. The three bars all close down by two, the seabirds sleep and the sea stars crew, the rocks and docks belong to you and me. The coldest time of day is also the most colorful: purple sky, blue bay, the orange of your glowing clove. Let's talk about how sleep will hit us in a few, then autumn brings us to somewhere new, and I'll get used to missing you a lot. Come with me, we only get a few of these; walk about, we'll make a map of memories. This town next year will be too tough, this time next year you'll be grown up. Walk about, wake up for one last walkabout. This place will change, but that was always part of the deal; the twig and turf and the British steal, the fields and floods were never really ours. Wake up for one last memory, another lap of sidewalk seas. This town next year will be too tough, this time next year we'll be grown up. © Drew Bayers, Nathanael Keefer, Matt Masocco

Amused 03:05
You say, "Why do you chose to stay? Life in a thoughtless place. Fine for a thousand days, hiding but entertained." On concrete or grass, the sun shines through December. Repeat the past and some lines to remember. So raise a glass and I'll find something clever to say to you to keep amused. There's nothing wrong, I'm right with you, no time to be confused. "Why do you act this way, try to deny your age? High on the reservoir, lie on a lower score?" We see nothing wrong with this. Concrete and grass, the sun shines through December, repeat the past, here's some lines to remember. So raise a glass and I'll find something clever to say to you to keep amused. There's something wrong with this: we've gone through so much booze, so why aren't we amused? © Drew Bayers, Nathanael Keefer, Matt Masocco

I remember when I was younger I was in love with a song, do you remember it too? Critical comparison can't cultivate a crush, I know I've already said too much. I try to hide behind these kinds of lines to impress you, I want to know that I don't have to. Will you remember it right now with me? The radio, and melodies... will you remember them right now with me so we don't feel so alone? Do you remember? And I remember, when I was younger, I was in love with a band, do you remember them too? I fantasized of fame and fun for future follow-through, all my dreams were fueled by teenage tunes. But embarrassment will paralyze a boy from destiny. How I wish I'd never had that gene. Will you remember them right now with me? Albums full of memories. Will you remember them right now with me so we don't feel so alone? Do you remember, do you remember? © Drew Bayers, Nathanael Keefer, Matt Masocco
