I remember when I was younger I was in love with a song, do you remember it too? Critical comparison can't cultivate a crush, I know I've already said too much. I try to hide behind these kinds of lines to impress you, I want to know that I don't have to.

Will you remember it right now with me? The radio, and melodies... will you remember them right now with me so we don't feel so alone? Do you remember?

And I remember, when I was younger, I was in love with a band, do you remember them too? I fantasized of fame and fun for future follow-through, all my dreams were fueled by teenage tunes. But embarrassment will paralyze a boy from destiny. How I wish I'd never had that gene.
